The Fuel Based Tiki-Torch Insect Repellent System
For Commercial & Residential Properties
Complete fuel management for tiki torches
What is Bug Torch?
We all know the tiki torch from our back yards. They were great at setting a mood and keeping away the mosquitos at least until they ran out of fuel. Then comes the dreaded chore of filling them.
Doing this without good disposable gloves ensures your hands get covered in a black oily mess. You are also sure to have spilled some fuel and made a mess as you fill each torch. We decided there had to be a better way.
BugTorch is an integrated system that connects one or more tiki torches to a central fuel tank and a controls that fills, monitors, ignites, and extinguishes your torches right from your smartphone.
We have developed technology to allow for the battery powered operation of a control unit at each torch. These Torch Controllers are able to sense and report the fuel level of that torch to control the flow of fuel to that torch. In addition we provide the ability to ignite and extinguish groups of torches for our smartphone app.
This has all been done to make the ambiance and insect control of the tiki torch with pest repellent fuel a more convenient and cleaner way to use tiki torches.
The world's only insect control torch system
Bug Torch is the only insect repellent oil base Tiki-Torch system available. Designed for commercial and high-end residential installations, it makes the Tiki-Torch maintenance and use significantly easier.
We all love the look of torches burning, but keeping them all burning is not fun. Moving from torch to torch with a bottle of oil and a funnel is a messy, clumsy, and time-consuming chore. First, you need to unscrew the tops of each torch and remove the wick, which may drip fuel, and will do its best to leave that black, oily gunk anywhere it can. Now, if you can find it, you need to get out the funnel and spill as little fuel on your shoes, the deck, and the furniture as possible as you attempt to fill the torch. You need to replace the wick as you curse the frayed end that just does not seem to want to go in! Final done! One down, 15 more to go.
Those that dread the task and can afford the cost, like wealthy home-owners, golf courses, catering venues, and restaurants, make a move to natural gas or propane installations. These provide the ambiance but not the insect repellent benefits. These can be incredibly expensive. A single torch can cost $2,000, and then there is the cost and disruption of burying metal gas pipes, a plumber to install the pipes, plumbing inspections, and maintenance. Even a relatively small installation can run cost thousands of dollars.
The Bug Torch System provides a system that is easy to install, maintain and operate. Get all of the ambiance without the insects.
